The Golden Glow of Christmas Past

About Our Neighborhood

Reopening Labor Day Weekend

The Day is Finally Here: Thursday, September 2!

Since our fire of April 8 we have gone through a lot to get to this point--the entire weekend we'll be celebrating the re-opening with refreshments and lots of "catching up"--and we hope you will join us.

There will be a huge change--we have moved the store! The store will be at the same address, but it will be located in the Carriage House and adjacent building out back.

The Carriage house will be the new home of The Christmas Haus, and the other building will house the "Pyramiden Haus" where all our pyramids and schwibbögens will be featured.

So, join us anytime Labor Day weekend as we celebrate our grand reopening. We will be open 10 am-5 pm daily as usual.

Thank you for your friendship and support.

is located in a handsome brick home built in 1891 by John Hersh. With its sweeping front porch and many large windows, the house reminds us of a grand summer house of earlier times. Ours is one of many Federal and Victorian homes that line Lincoln Way (Rt. 30).

New Oxford is fortunate to be home of many wonderful Bed and Breakfasts, and we invite you to check them out when you visit our town.

The oldest--in terms of construction and of being in business is The Barker House. The original structure was built in 1794.

Two houses down from us is Chestnut Hall Bed and Breakfast. This elegant 1888 home boasts period guest rooms and suites and gourmet breakfasts prepared by owners Tina and Steve McNaughton.

Want to go out of town and take your horse with you? The Stonegate Farm Bed, Breakfast and Barn accepts guests and their horses. Ride on their 225 acres just on the edge of town and stay in their elegant 1856 stone house.

New Oxford is located 9 miles from Gettysburg, on the way to Lancaster and York. We are known as "the little town with the beautiful circle" and as the "Antiques Capital of Central Pennsylvania."

Visit us often, but be sure to come to the New Oxford Antiques and Craft Market the third Saturday in June.
