The Christmas Haus 2015 Limited Edition Candy Container Designed by Roger Lund

When I began to work with German artists to create limited edition pieces for our special customers in 2007, I had no idea it would blossom into such a joyous experience. Today, customers from all around the country ask about the release date of our latest piece with great anticipation. Many of our pieces are now sold out so collectors have something no one else can have: a limited edition, signed and numbered piece from The Christmas Haus! Each effort I have made to date has been in a series of 3: first nutcrackers, then smokers and now Papier Mache Candy Containers. The third and final candy container of the series is now ready for 50 lucky customers to enjoy. Each opens from the bottom for you to fill it with goodies on St. Nicholas Eve. Santa's beautiful red beaded coat catches the light as you see the beautiful folds of his regal coat. He is trimmed with a rich green which is matched to the beautiful tree he is holding in one hand. Gentle snow has fallen on the tree. His warm blue eyes, say "Merry Christmas" as he looks as though he is delivering a special Christmas to your house. His golden buttons and sash glisten. Only 50 of these Candy Containers were made by my friend Thomas Schaller in Neustadt bei Coburg. As usual, each is signed by the maker and by me, the designer. ?Roger Lund, owner, The Christmas Haus This Limited Edition Santa paper mache candy container, made by Ino Schaller in Neustadt bei Coburg, is 10" tall. The removable plug on the bottom is stamped "This limited production 'paper mache' is hand-made in the original antique mold in Germay by INO SCHALLER" and hand signed by Thomas Schaller, great grandson of the family company's founder.
