This wooden boxed set of 12 beautiful jewel-toned, mouth blown and hand painted full-size ornaments, 2" to 4", depicts the twelve gifts of the "Twelve Days of Christmas."

The Twelve Days of Christmas are the festive days beginning the evening of Christmas Day (December 25) through the morning of Epiphany (January 6).

"The Twelve Days of Christmas" is an English Christmas carol, which enumerates a series of increasingly grandiose gifts given on each of the twelve days of Christmas. It is a cumulative song, meaning that each verse is built on top of the previous verses.

The 12 gifts include:

A partridge in a pear tree
A turtle dove
A French hen
A calling bird
A golden ring
A goose a-laying
A swan a-swimming
A maid a-milking
A lady dancing
A lord a-leaping
A piper piping
A drummer drumming
